Two goals from David Villa saw Barcelona rubber-stamp its progression to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with a 6-1 aggregate win over Alaves on Wednesday.

The Catalan giants led 3-0 from the first leg, but Alaves' Borja Viguera sparked vague hopes of a comeback at the Nou Camp with a goal in the 16th minute.

But Adriano equalized in the 35th minute, leaving Villa to settle the tie in the second half and the Spain striker duly notched in the 56th minute before doubling up three ...
