20 defenders shortlisted for World XI

FIFPro and FIFA have announced a shortlist of 20 defenders for their 2012 World XI, with eight Premier League stars making the cut.

John Terry, Ashley Cole, David Luiz and Branislav Ivanovic of Chelsea, Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United, Vincent Kompany of Manchester City and Gareth Bale of Tottenham join 12 others on a 20-man list.
