Former England manager Glenn Hoddle has turned down an approach to become Ukraine manager, but the indications are that the one-time Chelsea and Spurs boss is ready for a surprise return to football management, ESPN understands.

While Harry Redknapp's agent Paul Stretford was in Ukraine and Redknapp, another former Spurs manager, declared he was "serious" about the offer, Hoddle was also sounded out.
