Lyon defeats Reims to go top of Ligue 1

Lyon beat Reims 3-0 to move into first place in the French league, taking advantage of Paris Saint-Germain's latest home defeat and Marseille's 1-0 loss at Bordeaux.

Anthony Weber's own goal on the stroke of halftime set Les Gones on their way, and Bafetimbi Gomis doubled the hosts' advantage in the 73rd minute before Lisandro Lopez sealed matters at the end.

The result lifted Remi Garde's team a point clear of Bordeaux who moved up to second by beating fellow highfliers Marseille.
