Phoenix keeping calm after third loss

Alarm bells aren't ringing at the Wellington Phoenix yet, despite their third loss on end and ninth place on the A-League soccer table.

Wellington improved hugely from last week's dismal showing against Melbourne Victory, when a 3-2 win flattered the Phoenix after a horror first half.

But despite the improved effort, they were still beaten 1-0 by Central Coast Mariners at Westpac Stadium on Sunday and have just one win from six matches.
