Sydney FC coach Crook tipped to resign

Sydney FC are expected to announce Ian Crook has resigned his job as head coach after just six A-League games in charge.

The Sky Blues have called a press conference for 1400 AEDT at Allianz Stadium, where the club are tipped to confirm Crook will stand down from the role.

It comes after the Sky Blues suffered their second painful loss in the space of a week, surrendering a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 to arch rivals Melbourne Victory at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
