Dario Vidosic says he's still being coached by his father despite being at rival A-League clubs.

And the Adelaide United playmaker rates his father, Brisbane coach Rado, as better than his current mentor John Kosmina.

Vidosic's Reds confront his father's Roar in an early-season blockbuster on Sunday.

"I don't want to upset any of my previous coaches but, for me, he is the best coach I have ever had," Vidosic told reporters in Adelaide on Thursday.
