Toon deny Sissoko deal reports

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has denied claims that the club have agreed a deal to sign the Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Sissoko, 23, is in the last year of his current contract with Toulouse, meaning clubs outside France would be able to speak to him on January 1.

Reports late on Sunday claimed Newcastle had already agreed to sign the combative midfielder, but Pardew said it was "news to me" when asked about the reports after his side's late win over West Bromwich ...
