Gourcuff set to return for Lyon

Lyon playmaker Yoann Gourcuff looks set to make his return from injury for the clash with Marseille next weekend.

Gourcuff, 26, tore a ligament in his knee just six minutes into Lyon's Ligue 1 game against Troyes on August 20.

The midfielder was a standout performer during Lyon's pre-season campaign and although he was expected to be out of action for up to three months, coach Remi Garde is optimistic that Gourcuff will feature in Lyon's meeting with the league leaders on October ...
