Klose not targeting Germany records

Miroslav Klose says it is a "joke" to compare him to Gerd Muller despite only being three goals behind the former striker's record number scored for Germany.

Klose, 34, will gain his 126th cap for his country if he makes an appearance in their World Cup qualifier against Sweden on Tuesday.

The Lazio striker is slowly eating away at all records in German football, closing in on Lothar Matthaus' 151 caps, while he has scored 65 goals to Muller's 68.
