McBreen strikes for Mariners

Daniel McBreen came off the bench to earn Central Coast Mariners a 1-0 win at home to Perth Glory in the A-League.

McBreen netted in the 70th minute, seven minutes after coming on as a substitute, to give the Mariners their first win of the season at the second attempt.

Elsewhere, Melbourne Heart and Wellington Phoenix drew 1-1.
