Santa Cruz turns back on England

Roque Santa Cruz has stated he has no desire to return back to the Premier League once his Manchester City contract expires at the end of the season.

Santa Cruz, 31, currently on loan at Malaga, signed for Manchester City when Mark Hughes snapped him up for £17.5million in 2009.

However, within six months Hughes had been replaced by Roberto Mancini and after a succession of injuries the Paraguay international soon found himself surplus to requirements.
