Rangers have been drawn against Alloa in the third round of the Scottish Cup.

The Second Division side - managed by former Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley - have been handed a lucrative trip to Ibrox.

Rangers were given a home tie at Monday's draw at Hamilton Racecourse after a gruelling trip to the Highlands in the last round.

Ally McCoist's men scraped past tiny Forres Mechanics with a 1-0 win on Saturday.
