Newell's maintain unbeaten start

Apertura leaders Newell's Old Boys stretched their unbeaten start to the season to nine games but they could only get a point at Tigre.

Their goalless draw means they lead by two points from Racing Club, who won yesterday, and Velez Sarsfield, who slipped to a 4-2 defeat at home to Colon Santa Fe.
