David Luiz pens new Chelsea deal

Chelsea have confirmed that defender David Luiz has signed a new five-year contract with the Premier League club.

Luiz, 25, joined Chelsea from Benfica in January 2011 for £21 million and he has since started 55 games for the Blues.

The Brazil international lifted the Champions League trophy with Chelsea last season, being named in the starting XI for the final against Bayern Munich.
