Perez sends Cordoba third

Claudio Perez scored the only goal with a 72nd-minute penalty which moved Belgrano Cordoba up to third in the Argentinian Apertura table.

Perez struck from the spot with 18 minutes remaining to move Cordoba up to third and above opponents Godoy Cruz who dropped to fifth in the table.

Atletico Rafaela pulled away from the relegation zone with a 3-0 home win over Tigre which leaves their opponents close to the drop zone.
