Godoy Cruz close in on leaders Boca

Godoy Cruz moved up to second in the Argentinian Primera Division after edging out San Martin San Juan 1-0.



David Ramirez scored the only goal of the game in the 27th minute as Godoy Cruz went level on points with league leaders Boca Juniors, who have a game in hand.

Following their sixth defeat of the season, San Martin remain one place above bottom side Union Santa Fe on three points after seven games.
