Newcastle manager Alan Pardew received a two-match touchline ban Monday and was fined 20,000 pounds ($31,772) after accepting a Football Association charge of improper conduct.

The FA confirmed that following an Independent Regulatory Commission meeting, Pardew had been charged following an incident during his side's match against Tottenham on Aug. 18.
