U.S. beats North Korea

URAWA, Japan -- The United States beat North Korea 2-1 Friday to advance to the semifinals of the women's under-20 World Cup, while defending champion Germany coasted to a 4-0 win over Norway.

U.S. substitute Chioma Ubogagu scored early in extra time, connecting on a header off Crystal Dunn's pass in the 98th minute.

The U.S. will play Nigeria in the semifinals on Tuesday, while Germany will play Japan.
