Sunderland's Premier League match against Reading at the Stadium of Light has been called off today due to a waterlogged pitch, the Royals said on their Twitter feed.

Referee Neil Swarbrick postponed the fixture at around 13.40 BST after several inspections, with managers Martin O'Neill and Brian McDermott both having viewed the playing surface for themselves.
