Pardew accepts misconduct charge

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has accepted an Football Assocation misconduct charge.

Pardew, 51, received the charge after pushing assistant referee Peter Kirkup during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Newcastle's Europa League play-off tie against FC Atromitos of Greece, Pardew confirmed he had accepted the charge, and was awaiting the outcome.
