Manchester City sign Jack Rodwell

Manchester City have signed Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell for a reported fee of around £12 million and he has signed a five-year deal at Eastlands.

Rodwell, 21, made his debut for Everton in 2007 after progressing through the club's academy but will now look to take a step up in his career with the reigning Premier League champions.
