Vela leaves Gunners

Mexico striker Carlos Vela has completed his move to Real Sociedad from Arsenal.

Vela, 23, spent last season on loan with Sociedad and now completes a permanent move away from Emirates Stadium for an undisclosed fee.

Vela joined the Gunners in 2005 and had shown signs of promise, but he was unable to establish himself in the first-team and has had several spells out on loan.
