Violence mars Lazio friendly

The final game of Lazio's unsuccessful pre-season campaign was overshadowed by violent clashes between fans on Tuesday.

Lazio won the game at Salernitana 3-0, thanks to strikes from Cristian Ledesma, Stefano Mauri and Mauro Zarate, but the match will be remembered for the pre-match incidents.

Both clubs are owned by Claudio Lotito, but have a strong historical rivalry, which meant the arrival of Lazio fans in the home end of Salernitana's ground angered the locals.
