Neville hopes for Donovan return

Everton captain Phil Neville hopes to persuade LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan to join the Goodison Park outfit, after two succesful loan spells.

Donovan, 30, has made a positive impact at the club on both occasions that he has joined Everton and Neville has urged him to consider a permanent switch.

Neville told Sports Illustrated: "If there is a chance, I make sure that I try (to tempt him to Everton) every time I speak to him. That's the first thing I say to him.
