Adelaide to meet Bunyodkor

Adelaide United will renew their rivalry with Bunyodkor after being drawn to face the Uzbek champions in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

John Kosmina's team, officially under the guidance of assistant coach Luciano Trani, overcame Bunyodkor on the way to the 2008 final, which they lost to J.League giants Gamba Osaka.

The teams also met in this season's group stages with Adelaide winning 2-1 in Tashkent before a goalless draw in South Australia.
