Coyle waiting on Jaaskelainen call

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle remains hopeful veteran goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will sign a new contract with the Championship club.

Jaaskelainen, 37, has been at Bolton since 1997, after joining from Vaasan Palloseura, but has fallen down the pecking order in recent months.

Adam Bogdan is currently Coyle's first-choice shot-stopper, but the Scottish coach is keen for the experienced Jaaskelainen to sign a new two-year deal at the Reebok Stadium.
