Bendtner set to leave Arsenal

Nicklas Bendtner is likely to move on from Arsenal in the summer, with the striker saying he is ready for "new challenges".

Bendther has been on Arsenal's books since 2005, but has struggled to command a regular place and spent this season on loan at Sunderland.

Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill is believed to be keen on signing Bendtner on a permanent basis, but the Dane also has teams in Germany chasing his signature.
