Ferdinand calls on Scholes to stay

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has called on veteran midfielder Paul Scholes to stay at the club for one more season.

Scholes, 37, came out of retirement in January to help ease the club's midfield woes and has led the side to the brink of the Premier League title. Indeed, the club have not lost a Premier League match where the midfield maestro has started and Ferdinand is keen to see him remain.
