Imagine if Barcelona, Manchester United and AC Milan were in the same Champions League group. Even news organisations that frown upon the use of the cliché that is the 'Group of Death' would admit defeat. What else could you call it? Now imagine if the fourth team from, say, Denmark, not even seen as important enough to be dismissed, actually won the opening two games in the group.

Swap the imaginary "Dane Crazy" headlines for "Asia Thai-ed in knots" and you have the current situation ...
