Villarreal sack Molina

Villarreal have sacked coach Jose Molina following Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Levante.

The loss was Villarreal's third in a row in the Primera Division and left them one place and three points above the drop zone.

A statement on the club's official website read: ''Villarreal have decided to terminate the contract of Jose Molina as first-team coach after the defeat against Levante.
