Wolves deny Megson report

Wolverhampton Wanderers have moved to quash a report that the club are considering hiring Gary Megson as their manager.

Wolves are currently 19th in the Premier League, a point from safety, following a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Blackburn last weekend.

The club's hierarchy, in particular owner Steve Morgan, has come in for heavy criticism from fans, with a protest staged after the loss to Rovers.
