Coyle keen to keep Davies

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle wants Sunderland target Kevin Davies to stay at the club but admits an exit could be in the offing if the striker expresses a desire to move on.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill made an enquiry about the availability of Davies, 34, at the weekend, but Coyle informed his managerial counterpart the forward is part of his plans at the Reebok Stadium.
