The CONCACAF Gold Cup kicks off July 7. The competition, which features 12 teams from the North American, Central American and Caribbean regions, will last until July 26. The winner secures a place in the 2019 CONCACAF Cup, a one-game playoff against the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup champion to determine the region's qualifying team for the 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup.
The 12 teams vying for the trophy are the United States, Mexico, Canada, Honduras, Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Curacao, Martinique, French Guiana, Jamaica and Nicaragua.
