Liverpool's first trophy in six years and first since the return of Kenny Dalglish.
Both Gerrard's missed their penalties, but it was Anthony in the shirt of Cardiff whose miss was decisive.
Cruel blow for Cardiff. They had done so well to take it to penalties, but Liverpool are victorious.

Fantastic defending. Gerrard has chance to get a shot away, but ut is well blocked. The ball comes back to him and the pressure is enough for him to miscue the shot.
