So, this one is going against the form-book. Six bookings in the opening 24 minutes however is exactly what we expect from this game!

Maybe not. From the second consecutive corner, Demba Ba rises high above Lee Cattermole and heads flush onto the crossbar. Unlucky.
Long-ball into the Sunderland area isn't dealt with and the ball falls to Cabaye. A last gasp Sessegnon block sees off the danger.

Bendtner does brilliantly. The Dane pulls down Larsson's free-kick on his chest, before spinning and unleashing a powerful effort at goal. Saved low to his left by Krul.
The Newcastle fans are in uproar as Bendtner jumps in to block a clearance. No danger of contact with a player. Fans over-reacting now.
Now it is Gutierrez turn to attack the right full-back. The Argentine wants a free-kick, but Mike Dein waves play on.
