FULL TIME Wow. City make a huge statement of intent by battering Spurs at home. Dzeko was immense, Silva elegant and Nasri quietly effective. Title contenders? You bet.
What a day he's had. That is top quality, he curls a left-footed shot into the top corner from Barry's lay off. Pure class.
GOAL Dzeko again! Four up!

Three additional minutes...

City just knocking the ball about now and trying to make their extra man count.
The game has gone very quiet.
Savic was booked for his introduction too - one of the strangest cards you'll ever see. Presumably it was for time wasting.
An odd introduction for Stefan Savic as he he runs on before Aguero has gone off. He is forced to retreat back to the touchline to wait for Aguero to come off.

The City fans are lauding over a distinctly miserable Spurs contingent.
Once again Spurs find themselves 3-0 down to a team from Manchester. What a rotten start to the season for them.
This is a big statement of intent from City. Either that or Spurs are just very average.
His first city hat-trick and reward for a brilliant display. Toure gets round the back, fires it across and he finishes from two yards out. Game. Over.
GOAL Dzeko hat-trick!
Tidy possession from City as they spread it wide and Clichy wins a corner.

We begin again...

City can play at their own pace now and revert to counter attacking mode.

A lovely one-two between Nasri and Silva ends in the former Arsenal man crossing for Dzeko to poke home from six yards.
Crouch wins a knockdown and Clichy whacks the ball against Barry. Spurs scream handball but Phil Dowd waves it away.
Another thundering shot from Barry, like his effort at Bolton last week, two yards wide but Friedel didn't even move.

Van der Vaart bundles over Zabaleta and he is booked. Soft cards flying about all over the place.

Nasri and Silva try a one-two but Dawson was alive to it.
Superb chance for Bale at the back post after a lovely passing move. Lennon crossed, Crouch flicked it and Bale had to take it on the bounce and sliced it over the bar.
Yaya Toure is going in the book too for a flash of petulance when Spurs were awarded a free kick. A pointless booking for kicking the ball away.
