It finishes Argentina 1-0 Brazil. Thanks for following the action, and I'll be back from 19.30 GMT for England vs France. Join me then.
Terrible game, brilliant goal.
And that's the last action of the game! Messi's goal is the winning goal and Argentina have stolen this at the death.
A goal out of nothing.
Lionel Messi has scored a fantastic goal to win this for Argentina. He's dribbled the ball half the length of the field, beating three Brazilians along the way, before sending a left-footed shot into the corner of the net. Great strike, typical Messi.
GOAL! 1-0 Argentina
Douglas tries to get around Heinze, who stands his ground well.
Both teams are bringing their kids on now in the realisation that this game is edging towards a predictable, goalless, conclusion.
Jucilet on, Ramires off
Argentina have six, in case you're wondering.
Robinho fires just over, bringing Brazil's total shots up to 17 for the game.
Fair play to the guy, he started with a jog before sprinting the length of the field to get away from the chasing stewards.
There is an intruder on the pitch! Finally, some excitement!
Alves fires a free kick from 25 yards out just over. Again, it was dipping, but never really troubled Romero in goal.
I'm sure Argentina are delighted to see the back of Neymar. The boy's been at the centre of everything good about Brazil today.
Andre on, Neymar off
But the delivery is poor and Argentina hack it away. That's been the story of the game I'm afraid.
Argentina can't stop fouling Neymar, who has been bright today. He is wrestled to the floor by Heinze and Brazil have a free kick on the right wing...
Douglas jogs on for his international debut. He has 17 minutes to find a goal for Brazil.
Douglas on, Ronaldinho off
I'm afraid Javier Pastore fans have had little to cheer tonight. He's been pretty average.
D'Alessandro on, Pastore off
Messi is bundled over by Elias just outside the right side of the box. The free kick is fired low across the face of goal but Brazil calmly clear their lines.
Neymar is chopped down again and Ronaldinho fires the resulting free kick low and hard at the Argentina goal, and Romero does well to gather the ball and hold on. Slightly ambitious effort by Ronaldinho, but it's still ALL Brazil here.
Another great move by Brazil, who are really on top now. Neymar is pole-axed on the edge of the box but the ref plays on with the ball at Robinho's feet. But Robinho drags his left-footed shot narrowly wide of the far post.
Mascherano is booked (yes, really) for a merciless hack on the back of Ronaldinho's legs.
Promising move by Brazil. Ronaldinho finds Alves on the right wing, who crosses for Ramires, but his headed knock down is into empty space. Where was Neymar/Robinho/Lucas?
Brazil riding their luck at the moment.
Dani Alves shoots from 25 yards but his dipping shot is just over.
Best move of the game by Argentina! Lavezzi does very well on the right again and beats Luiz easily. He gets his cross in looking for Pastore, whose shot appeared to hit the hand of Thiago Silva. Nothing given though.
Lavezzi did well to get to the byeline for Argentina but looked up and there was no one there. He tried to cut back his cross instead but Brazil clear easily.
Brazil still dominating this game, Argentina are being limited to counter-attacks and shots from distance. They are being out-muscled in midfield. Lucas and Ramires need to step up.
Ronaldinho in the thick of it again as he puts a low ball from the left across the face of goal, but Neymar can't connect.
Ronaldinho takes the free kick and it evades everyone and goes out for a goal kick. All it needed was a touch.
Robinho is blocked as he gallops down the left wing and has been awarded a free kick. Just as well really, he had lost his way.
There was one half time substitution, Gonzalo Higuain was replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi for Argentina.
Argentina kept Brazil waiting for several minutes before the restart, slightly unsporting if you ask me.
Argentina get the second half going in Doha.
Brazil have shaded the half so far, but Argentina are hanging in there. But who will break the deadlock? Join me in 12 or so minutes for the second half.
And that's half time. It's 0-0.
Brazil catch Argentina napping again and Ronaldinho feeds Alves on the right. Alves gets caught in to minds and he neither shoots no crosses and the chances goes begging.
Great skill by Neymar to get away from his marker but his cross from the left is gathered by Romero. Messi was definitely fouled in the build-up to that chance.
Ramires tries an effort from similar range as Messi's a few moments ago, but the result couldn't be more different. High, wide and not very handsome at all.
Messi sends an absolutely stunning shot at goal from 25 yards which brushes the post, near the angle with bar. An absolute thunderbolt by the Barcelona man.
Ronaldinho goes for goal with the free kick and Romero curiously decides to punch it clear rather than catch it. The danger is gone, nonetheless.
Neymar is beginning to cause problems for Argentina and wins a free kick just outside the box, left of centre.
Neymar appears to be tripped in the box and looks at the ref for a penalty but he isn't getting that in a million years. Simulation.
Messi and Pastore exchange passes on the edge of the box but Messi loses control at the crucial moment.
Counter attack by Argentina is led by Messi who surges forward! He finds Higuain on the right rather than Pastore on the left, who was unmarked. Higuain takes the ball too wide and the chance is gone.
Another good move by Brazil breaks down on the edge of the box. Ronalduinho attempts some silk but loses out.
Intricate move by Brazil ends with an overhit through ball to Alves.
Messi sends a low effort just wide of the post. Argentina feeling their way into this game.
Di Maria forces a corner off Thiago Silva.
Lovely move by Brazil almost ends in a spectacular own goal by Mascherano! Neymar's ball in from the left is booted out of play by Mascherano but narrowly goes past his own post!
Brazil seeing more of the ball at the moment and Alves hits the bar! A quick one-two with Luiz in the box gives him the time to lash and effort at goal from 15 yards out but he slices his effort and it crashes against the bar. The first significant action of the game.
It's rather attack vs attack so far, neither side really settling into any kind of rhythm. Great for the neutral though.
Mascherano is chopped down by Ronaldinho. Usually the other way round that.
Nice move by Brazil involving all of their front men. Elias gets a cross in from the left and Ramires squeezes in a shot at goal but it was a daisycutter and was never going to trouble Romero.
End-to-end stuff so far. Hardly surprising given the attacking talent on display.
Robinho puts a lovely through ball into the path of Neymar but Romero does well to smother the ball.
Zanetti gets forward from right back for Argentina, cuts in and shoots at goal with his left. Victor gathers.
But he fires it straight into the wall.
Brazil have won a free kick 25 yards out. Ronaldinho is standing over it...
Argentina, complete with their amazingly attacking line-up tonight, are taking this game to Brazil in the early stages.
