Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid
Referee: Carlos Clos Gómez
FULL TIME The referee brings an end to a crazy second half that saw two red cards, about seven yellows and a crucial goal from Angel Di Maria. A hard fought win for Jose, and his side pull within two points of Barcelona going into the winter break.
Granero goes down and Leon has a pop on goal but it was always rising.
Pedro Leon does well to win a corner and relieve some pressure.
Acosta gets to the byline but Casillas claims his cross at the near post. Four minutes added time...
A stupid kick after the ball had gone from Dabo. We now have ten apiece and about a million yellows too.
Dabo now lashes out at Di Maria and gets a straight red. Its all gone potty.
A tangle ensues as Di Maria goes down after a clip before Acosta leans in to give him some stick. That leads to another rolling on the floor incident. Pathetic football. Acosta is booked, as is Ramos, for getting involved in some shoving.
Pedro Leon handles a Sevilla clearance, then clips the ball into the net after the whistle to pick up a silly card.
The Real fans serenade Jose Mourinho...
Caceres is carded for a sliding tackle on Ronaldo, then he manhandles the ref and is lucky not to see red.
Negredo is judged to have fouled Albiol as they went up for a high ball. Now Zokora and Capel come off and Carlos and Alfaro are on.
Capel is fast becoming my least favourite footballer. His delivery is awful and he dives every two minutes.
Sevilla are now forced into attacking action - something they should have done as soon as Carvalho went off.
Sevilla have defended well tonight but they were all over the place for the goal. Palop shouldn't have come to meet Di Maria, and when he did, one of his defenders should have gone back on the goal-line.
Zokora is late on Granero and gets a yellow card.
That has lifted the mood around the ground. As soon as Di Maria found the net Jose ran to tell Albiol he was coming on. 1-0 will suit him just fine now.
Jose makes a change straight away and brings Ozil off. He is booked for taking his time. Albiol comes on.
GOAL Di Maria has done it! What a good finish. Ozil fed Leon, his shot fell to Di Maria, Palop came out to a tight angle but the winger just turned, jinked and then found the net.
Capel gets room on the left as the game becomes increasingly stretched but his cross is awful. Then Ozil chases down a long punt and Palop is out.
Great defending from Caceres as he matches Ronaldo for pace then nudges him out of the way to win a goal kick as they both chased a long ball.
Has there ever been a player that spends more time on the floor than Capel? Another dive there as Granero chased him.
Di Maria gets round the back but runs the ball out of play under pressure from Dabo.
Pepe meets Di Maria's corner but can only flick it out for a throw on the far side.
Diarra is booked for a nasty lunge on Konko but before that Granero howled for a pen after Ronaldo's shot fell to him six yards out. He tried to turn but Navarro stayed firm and Sevilla clear.
Looks like Real have gone three at the back. Sevilla should definitely get space on the counter.
Palop is out well as Di Maria swings in a cross looking for Ronaldo, who hung in the air like Jordan.
Its just not happening for Madrid at all. Pepe has resorted to thumping long balls up to Ronaldo now.
Real will still push forward and Di Maria wins a corner off Dabo.
Carvalho led with the arm but it looked like a genuine clash of heads rather than an elbow or forearm. Still, he had been booked already and knew he was risking another yellow. That's exactly what he got.
Carvalho has been pushing his luck and now he is off. He rises with Negredo and makes contact with his arm but on second look that might be harsh.
Leon's corner falls to Di Maria at the far post but his half volley was a tricky one to keep down and he couldn't do it.
That will release Ronaldo to play up top. Pedro Leon wins a corner.
Jose has seen enough as Benzema and Khedira come off to be replaced by Granero and Pedro Leon.
Now Di Maria goes down rather easily in the box and is booked for diving. Right decision too. Palop starts shouting in his face needlessly.
Fabiano threaded a lovely ball through to him but Negredo's effort was pitiful. On his wrong foot perhaps but he's paid well so why can't he kick with both?
Oh no no no. Negredo gets a huge chance as he gets through on goal but blasts the ball over the bar with only Casillas to beat. Unforgivable.
Pepe runs over to berate the linesman after he fails to raise the flag on Fabiano. The ball was still active.
Sevilla should be going for this. Not hell for leather, but Real are out of sorts and are ripe for the picking here.
Another awful pass from Benzema, who fluffs a simple ball to Di Maria. He's been woeful tonight.
The fans groan as Benzema relinquishes possession then Carvalho is penalised again for some rough treatment on Fabiano. Has to be careful the ex-Chelsea man.
Needless foul from Carvalho who gives the ball to Negredo then fouls him.
Ronaldo wins an innocuous free kick then tries another effort that bounces in front of Palop but the keeper is wise to it.
Di Maria looks ruefully at Diarra after the midfielder delayed his pass. By the time he released Di Maria was five yards offside.
Ozil tries to drive in a cross but it is right at Palop.
Lovely little clip from Di Maria to Ozil but the German is flagged offside when he was perhaps level. Jose is not happy.
An early chance for Sevilla as Romaric gets down the right and crosses but Casillas gets a hand to it before Negredo can tap home.
We begin again and I'm still none the wiser as to why there was a war between the benches just on the half time whistle..
Comment from Jon Molyneux-Carter: Watching Real Madrid and Barcelona is like chalk and cheese at the moment. Barca are playing superb football and the goals are flowing in. Sadly, the same can't be said for Jose's men.
During the break, why not have a read of Pep Guardiola purring after Barca thrashed city rivals Espnayol last night.
Karim Benzema and Fernando Navarro tussle for the ball.

HALF TIME A good save right on HT as Dabo's free kick is blocked by Casillas then Pepe prevents Negredo from popping in the rebound. Then as the teams come off the two benches have a little rumble in the tunnel. Not sure what that was about.
Carvalho gets a booking for tugging Negredo's arm as he chased a long ball.
Ronaldo wants a free kick as Caceres got in his way. Nothing doing.
Navarro dawdles a yard behind his defensive colleagues and Ozil is off but he can't reach Khedira's ball before it goes out of play.
Looks like a little verbal jousting between the two benches. For once, Jose doesn't get too involved.
Ronaldo goes into full on sulk mode after losing the ball. As he was ambling back the ball was played to him but he was still two yards offside.
Now when Navarro fouls Di Maria, the referee lets it go! He's all over the place our official.
A little chat between Zokora and Ronaldo and now Capel goes down in ridiculous fashion only to win another free kick. Contact sport anyone?
Another ball forward, another offside call against Benzema.
Capel is down after a coming together with Zokora. Never a foul but this is Spain after all....
Arbeloa tries a Ronaldo stepover but then Di Maria runs right into Zokora.
That is truly terrible Diego Capel. Released by Negredo down the left, with no pressure and numbers in the box, he's sliced a horror cross right out of play. Oh my.
Arbeloa does well to slide in as Konko looked to release Romaric.
Sevilla have been excellent at doubling up on Ronaldo, wherever he pops up on the pitch.
Ronaldo looks for Benzema but Escude concedes a corner. I may have done Fabiano a disservice a moment ago, he was only a yard offside.
Fabiano heads towards goal but checks his run once he realises he's four yards offside.
Di Maria has a pop and a swerving ball causes Palop to fist it behind for a corner that Sevilla clear at the near post.
Real are starting to get a little frustrated now. Sevilla holding firm.
Ronaldo skips down the left and cuts inside but can't pick out a ball.
Now Capel turns in a dangerous ball from a corner and Escude flicks a header just wide.
A big tangle in Real's area as Pepe hacks behind for a corner as Negredo twisted and turned in a bid to get a shot in.
Another free kick that bounces just in front of the keeper but this time Palop holds firm.
Ronaldo lining this one up again...
A great burst from Khedira, as he turns defence into attack and is only interrupted by Zokora, who is lucky not to get a card.
Cracking move involving Ozil, Di Maria and Ronaldo. the latter puts the ball in but Benzema had strayed offside and his shot was saved by Palop in any case.
But Sevilla break down field and Capel's cross finds its way into Konko's path but his shot is wild and over the bar. To be fair, the lay off to him wasn't great.
Palop is out sharply as Diarra looked to put Ronaldo in down the left. Good goalkeeping.
Khedira is in too strongly now on Fabiano.
Now Ozil makes a run and Di Maria finds him but the flag is up.
The first real opening for Real as Ozil slots a lovely ball into Benzema, he sidesteps Palop but then tries a flick to Ronaldo and the Adonis wasn't expecting it.
A very poor ball from Khedira after a lovely run. He had Ozil in support but overhit a regulation pass. Poor.
Now Zokora is down holding his face. No flow to the game yet with all these fouls.
Di Maria tumbles now, under a strong challenge and hands Real another free kick but Ramos' challenge on Escude is to strong.
Ronaldo hands off to Ozil but his ball finds Benzema in an offside position.
Khedira is the latest to take a tumble. Feisty start to the game.
Ronaldo's effort bounces just in front of Palop, who fumbles the ball but manages to reclaim it before any white shirt can pounce.
Now Navarro hauls down Benzema and Ronaldo lines up the free kick from 35 yards out.
A rather rough tackle from Fabiano on Ramos hands Real a free kick.
Now Konko gets to the byline and wins a corner but the ball had gone out of play as it came in.
Pepe does well to nudge Nedgredo off the ball as Sevilla launch an early break.
Bitter sweet news for Sevilla, Luis Fabiano is back but Freddie Kanoute is out. Romaric and Konko also come in.
No Xabi Alonso or Marcelo for Real tonight, but Sergio Ramos is back from injury and Sami Khedira comes in.
After Barcelona dished out a derby thumping to Espanyol last night, Jose's men need a win to pull within two points of the leaders. They have been formidable at the Bernabeu to date though.
