Referee: Lee Probert
FULL TIME A well deserved win for Bolton, who were handed a goal start by their opponents, who never recovered. Coyle will be delighted, Moyes will be furious.
The game is petering out now and Everton fans stream for the exits - those who stayed after the second goal went in that is.
That's Sturridge's last involvement as he trots off to be replaced by Fabrice Muamba. Two minutes added...
Now Sturridge gets on the end of a gift from Baxter and curls a shot just wide of the far post.
Elmander fires a vicious shot just wide of the far post. Very close.
Lee's cross finds Sturridge in the box but he is off target as he tries a volley and spoons it over the bar.
The awful Fellaini taps the ball out of play trying to round Cahill. Sums up his miserable day.
David Moyes will be livid after this I reckon. Everton didnt't start playing until they were a goal down and they've always been a yard behind Bolton.
Arteta takes the corner to Baxter on the edge of the box but he slices his volley.
Finally, an effort on goal from Everton as Baxter hits one on the turn but Jaaskelainen parries it behind.
Daniel Sturridge celebrates Bolton's second goal
Finally a decent ball into the box from Everton but Wheater stands tall. He's been good since he came on.
The replay shows the whole of the ball hadn't gone out. It would have been a lovely goal too.
At the other end Holden has put the ball in the net but the linesman has ruled the ball went out of play before Sturridge back-heeled it into the midfielder's path.
Beckrord reacted furiously when Fellaini fluffed a simple ball into his path.
Anichebe goes off and Jose Baxter is on.
Looks like the weather is taking its toll on the players now - plenty of them look heavy-legged.
A poor challenge from Cahill on Kevin Davies.
Everton's problem is clear when Saha isn't around - they just aren't potent enough up top.
Anichebe looks spent now. He's not tracking back on the right as he is supposed to and Bolton are making use of it.
Another Baines cross is dealt with by Bolton as Holden hacks clear.
An awful free kick from Heitinga as he launches a looping ball right into Jaaskelainen's arms.
Beckford tries to link with Osman but Everton's touches aren't on the money today at all.
Everton are throwing everything forward now. THey've been dominant since Bolton scored but haven't ever looked like opening their opponents up.
Everton will be kicking themselves as Chung-Yong Lee wins a header and Sturridge blasts the ball into the far corner from the corner of the six yard box. Excellent finish.
GOAL Sturridge scores again!
Incredibly the referee allows Fellaini to get away with a trip on Mark Davies as he neared the edge of the box.
Everton are pressing now as Cahill, Anichebe and Beckford pour forward.
Cahill fires a half-volley over the bar after Fellaini's knock down.
A change from Moyes now as Beckford and Osman come on for Bilyaletdinov and Coleman.
Matt Taylor trudges off and is replaced by Chung-Yong Lee.
Baines swings in the free kick but Jaaskelainen climbs.
Anichebe thumps the ground in frustration after a little bump from Wheater. A stupid reaction after an innocuous nudge. He wins a free kick though.
Fellaini tries a left-footed effort from wide right and whacks it into the crowd. He's had a terrible game.
Oh dear, a foul thtow from Bilyaletdinov. That should be 10 press-ups surely.
Good ball into Anichebe's feet from Distin but Cahill blocks the shot on the turn.
Intense pressure from Everton as Baines fires in two excellent crosses then as the ball drops for Arteta he shanks his volley across goal from a tight angle.
An Everton free kick sees Fellaini get up and win a corner after his header is deflected.
Taylor's free kick is charged down by the wall then he wants another one from Coleman but he is denied.
Taylor puts in a far better ball this time, as he drives it right across the face of goal. No white shirt could get a touch.
Heitinga covers as Mark Davies charges down the left flank.
Poor control from Anichebe as Cahill diverted a ball into his path. It did arrive quickly though.
An awful cross from Taylor after good work from Robinson had given him space down the left.
We begin again...
Gary Cahill heads home the opening goal for Bolton
HALF TIME Now Coleman flashes a cross-cum-shot narrowly wide of the post with Cahill lurking at the back stick. And that is half time. A slow start but lively for the last half an hour.
More space for Coleman down the right but Fellaini's pass allows Jaaskelainen to slide in and get the ball, then clear. Smart goalkeeping.
Everton have fluffed a great chance to break as Arteta raced clear and fed Bilyaletdinov but his ball for Coleman, who was free on the right channel, was just behind his colleague.
The ball is turned in by Kevin Davies who finds his namesake Mark and his shot is deflected behind.
Poor again from Fellaini who hands the ball to Bolton, Holden goes wide for Taylor but his cross is diverted behind for a corner.
A promising run from Baines comes to an end after an errant touch.
Good pressure from Everton as they get balls into the box. No clear cut openings yet though.
Arteta feeds the ball wide for Coleman whose cross flashes along the six yard line, as Everton rebuild Arteta then shoots into the arms of Jaaskelainen from 25 yards out.
Cahill beats Wheater in the air despite the height difference but Anchiebe can't profit from it.
A rare sight as Phil Neville is flagged offside.
Heitinga launches a long ball for Baines whose marker is Elmander. Not smart.
Fellaini's radar is off today. His passing has been terrible.
Taylor's shot goes under the jumping wall but dribbles into Howard's arms.
Sturridge is clipped by Heitinga, or at least his balance is disturbed and Bolton have a free kick 25 yards out centre of goal.
Some tidy football from Bolton as thye work it one way then the other. It ends with a cross towards Elmander but Baines does well.
A poor passage of play as Arteta squanders possession before Sturridge does exactly the same.
Distin is now penalised for a tug on Sturridge. A generous award.
Kevin Davies buys a free kick off Arteta claiming a forearm in the back of the head. He has a point.
David Wheater comes on for his Bolton debut in place of Knight.
Knight is now being loaded onto a stretcher. Anichebe is up and about and he looks ok to continue.
Knight hobbles back on before hobbling off again almost instantly. His game is done.
That was nasty - Knight's knee buckled under him as he launched the block. He may be in trouble here.
A lovely ball from Arteta and Anichebe runs onto it before striking on goal but Knight gets a good block in. Both are now down injured.
Bilyaletdinov chests the ball to Cahill inside the box but the Aussie is offside.
This has developed into a decent game now with Everton on top now.
A bit dodgy from Neville who taps the ball back to Howard as Sturridge was bearing down. The keeper does well to get the ball out of harm's way.
Good Everton pressure now as they get the ball into the box. Corner.
Anichebe lays off and goes for the return from Cahill but Knight held him back. Free kick and a talking to for the defender.
What a superb ball in from Baines. His cross dips for Cahill who volleys it wide from seven yards. Should have gone with his head and it would surely be 1-1 if he had.
A good battle developing between Knight and Anichebe.
Heitinga makes a hash of possession and Sturridge picks his pocket before trying to release Kevin Davies but Baines is there to turn it back to Howard.
Great challenge from Mark Davies as Anichebe looked to unload from just outside the box.
Poor delivery from Arteta and Taylor hoofs clear at the near post.
Elmander slides in on Baines and catches him late. A deserved booking and a free kick wide left for Everton.
Hopefully that will shake Everton up - they've been awfully poor so far.
Holden whips in a free kick, Cahill glances a header towards goal but it flicks off Heitinga and flies past Howard, who was going the other way.
GOAL Cahill opens the scoring!
Another good burst from Ricketts but Everton clear his cross.
The honme side definitely on top in the early stages. Anichebe looks very lonely up fron on his own for Everton.
Bolton win the game's first corner but Matt Taylor's delivery was terrible.
Ricketts has a go on goal from 30 yards out but his low fizzer is well wide of the target.
A very bitty opening to the game.
A bright early run from Daniel Sturridge is ended by a Fellaini challenge.
Its a pretty miserable day in Lancashire - constant rain and grey skies. Could make for a slick surface and a few mistakes though.
Everton make two changes from the side that shared eight goals with Blackpool as Victor Anichebe comes in for the hamstrung Louis Saha and Tim Cahill returns in place of the injured Jack Rodwell.
Bolton name an unchanged line up from the side that lost 2-1 at Tottenham last time out meaning their front three of Davies, Elmander and Sturridge are retained.
Afternoon all and welcome along to live coverage of Everton's trip to Bolton. Given that the Trotters have been enjoying an excellent campaign to date, and Everton's season has widely been regarded as disappointing, its interesting to note the Toffees can climb above Wanderers in the table with a win today.
