Upton Park, England
Referee: M Halsey
West Ham are now only in the relegation zone on goal difference, level on 28 points with Wolves in 17th place.
FULL TIME A huge three points for West Ham. Goals from Parker, Ba and Cole give them a win over Liverpool, who could only respond with a solitary strike from Glen Johnson.
Now it's the West Ham fans' turn to sing, "I'm forever blowing bubbles" booms around Upton Park.
What a big goal for West Ham, surely name they will move level on points with Wolves? Who are just outside the relegation zone.
GOAL Carlton Cole seals the win for West Ham! Excellent from Cole, he controls and shrugs of Skrtel before driving towards goal. His left-foot shot is too strong for Reina, who is beaten at the near post.
West Ham lose possession from the free kick, but Liverpool's clearance is returned by Wayne Bridge. Mark Noble finds himself in possession and fires on goal after shrugging of a challenge, but Reina saves his shot.
West Ham with a free kick near the Liverpool area after Noble is tripped by Carragher. Breathing space for the Hammers.
Carlton Cole on for Demba Ba
Awful from Steven Gerrard, his cross is overhit and evades everyone. Goal kick to West Ham.
Liverpool free kick 30 yards out after Upson hauls down Suarez...
Upton Park is eerily quiet. The home fans are nervous as their team look to hold on for a vital three points...
The travelling fans have found their voice again, can Liverpool salvage a point they barely deserve?
GOAL Glen Johnson pulls one back for Liverpool! Excellent work from Suarez, who twists and turns away from his marker before drilling a low cross into the six-yard box, and Johnson had a simple tap in. Game on!
James Tomkins is struggling for West Ham. He looks like he'll be ok, though.
Jonathan Spector on for Frederic Piquionne
An awful miscue from Cole, Liverpool take a corner short and eventually it arrives with Suarez at the far post. His cushion volley is right into the path of Cole, who slices his volley horribly.
Another stodgy build up from Liverpool ends with Johnson crossing harmlessly into the arms of Rob Green. The Reds seem devoid of any spark or invention.
The free kick is wasted as Dirk Kuyt is penalised for shirt pulling.
West Ham are beginning to drop deeper and are inviting Liverpool on to them. Tentitively, Liverpool are accepting the invitation as Johnson is brought down...
Steven Gerrard goes down under Piquionne's challenge, looking for a penalty. Almost apologetically, Gerrard shakes the French striker's hand. Never a penalty.
Liverpool seemed to have upped their intensity in the last couple of minutes. As I type, though, Dirk Kuyt dribbles straight out of play.
Steven Gerrard with a rasping half-volley at Rob Green's goal. The England stopper acrobatically flicks it over the top.
Demba Ba heads home West Ham's second goal.
Gerrard finds space in the West Ham box for the first time, as he shoots, he sees Upson fly in to block. Good defending.
Another shot, you know who it was. That's right, Hitzlsperger, back on his favoured left foot, can only blaze high and wide.
Piquionne should have made it three! In allsorts of space he heads wide of goal. It should have been game over.
West Ham corner now, Johnson blocking Bridge's cross...
Lars Jacobsen sees the space open up in front of his and thinks, "Why not?" His drive at goal is always rising and comfortably clears the cross bar.
Another Liverpool corner is wasted as Tomkins heads clear. The set pieces have been poor today.
West Ham counter and Gary O'Neil powers into the Liverpool area, his cross-cum-shot is deflected behind for a corner. Reina catches Hitzlsperger's delivery from the set peice.
A waste from Dirk Kuyt. In acres of space on the right and with teammates waiting in the centre, his cross is easy for Green to gather.
A fantastic save from Green to deny Suarez! The former Ajax man slips away from Upson for a second as finds himself clear. His shot across goal is well struck and Green stretches to keep it out with his finger tips.
Liverpool free kick, Noble trips Gerrard on the half-way line.
Yet again, Hitzlsperger has a crack with his right peg. It's uncharacteristically wayward and is never troubling Reina.
The Hammers are looking very confident in possession and Liverpool are having trouble getting the ball, let alone threatening Rob Green.
Liverpool only have one substitution left, with both of their attacking options already on the pitch in the shape of Cole and Ngog. What can Kenny do?
Luis Suarez clears from his own corner flag and that is an indication of the pressure Liverpool are under at the moment. It's all West Ham.
West Ham again go close to netting a third. The latest corner causes panic in the Liverpool defence before the ball is eventually hoofed clear!
Another Hitzlsperger shot, this time right-footed, is deflected wide for another corner...
The short corner is whipped in and Gerrard heads clear at the near post.
Carragher is forced to head behind under pressure and it's a West Ham corner...
Demba Ba within a whisker of making it 3-0! He cuts onto his left foot 20 yards from goal, and his daisy-cutter is inches from sneaking inside the post!
Joe Cole is finding the ball, it's just the delivery he needs to work on now. Another failed through ball as his pass to Suarez is intercepted.
A huge blow for Liverpool. They have lost probably their two best players, Kelly and Meireles, to injury inside 50 minutes at Upton Park. It's turning into a pretty awful day for the Merseysiders.
David Ngog on for Raul Meireles
Raul Meireles is struggling again after a collision with Scott Parker. His afternoon could be over...
A wasted set piece for West Ham, the ball eventually ends up in Rob Green's gloves.
Good defending from Tomkins, Meireles is cross was looking for Suarez, but the youngsters heads behind for a corner...
Nothing is going right for Joe Cole right now. He dribbles enthusiastically to the edge of the West Ham box and clips a floated pass back across goal, only to see none of his teammates are around him.
SECOND HALF West Ham get us restarted.
A big second half needed from Liverpool. There isn't much on the bench in terms of players who could make a difference, it's going to have to come from the eleven on the pitch if it's going to come at all.
This win could see West Ham climb to level on points with 17th-placed Wolves. It's getting very tight at the bottom of the table.
Don't forget to join us for the Carling Cup final later. Can Arsenal win their first trophy for six years? Or will Alex McLeish's Birmingham City achieve an unlikely victory? Find out with us from 4pm.
A disaster of a first half for Liverpool. Two-nil down, Martin Kelly off injured, it's hard to see a way back into this for them.
HALF TIME What a first half for the Hammers. Scott Parker and Demba Ba have put them two-goals to the good against a Liverpool team which hasn't turned up.
TWO MINUTES ADDED TIME
GOAL Demba Ba makes it 2-0!!! Garl O'Neil in space on the right, his floated cross is perfect for Ba, who powers a wonderful header beyond Reina. A huge goal for West Ham!
An interesting reshuffle for Liverpool. Glen Johnson reverts to his natural right-back position, with Lucas looking like he has slipped in at left-back.
Joe Cole on for Martin Kelly
A horrible moment for poor Martin Kelly. He sprints to the byline and looks to cross, only to fall to the floor clutching the back of his thigh. His afternoon is over and Joe Cole is stripping off...
West Ham have a dangerous set piece and Hitzlsperger is stood behind it...He stays there as Noble curls a harmless shot yards wide.
Martin Kelly stings the palms of Rob Green. Flowing football between Meireles and Gerrard before possession arrives with Kelly. His left-footed drive is well saved.
Liverpool's play seems to break down when it approaches the final third. Steven Gerrard is the latest culprit as he overhits a final ball straight to Rob Green.
West Ham waste an excellent counter-attacking opportunity. Piquionne is in space running at the Liverpool backline. He has Ba in support but chooses to go alone, his attempted shot is closed.
Danny Wilson heads clear powerfully.
West Ham throw right by the corner flag...
Raul Meireles is in trouble for Liverpool. He is struggling on the half-way line at the minute and this could be a big blow.
West Ham have grown in confidence since the goal. Parker and Hitzlsperger are dictating play wonderfully from the centre of the park and Avram Grant will be a happy man at the half hour mark.
Kenny Dalglish looks rather unhappy in the away dugout. Liverpool have look lively without posing much of a threat so far.
Suarez is hobbling after a crunching tackle from Scott Parker. Nothing wrong with the challenge, but the striker has taken a hefty whack.
Suarez launches a forray into West Ham territory, he drifts towards the byline before slipping and the chance has gone. The game is so open, we could have a goalfest today.
West Ham go close at the other end, Piquionne drills a low cross straight across the six-yard box which Demba Ba is inches from getting on the end of.
A breathless pace at the moment, Liverpool clear the corner and Suarez feeds Dirk Kuyt. The Dutchman dips inside and unleashes a ferocious shot narrowly wide.
Liverpool with an immediate corner, Meireles delivery is poor and West Ham break with Ba forcing Carragher into conceding a corner at the other end...
GOAL Scott Parker gives West Ham the lead!!! After playing a one-two with Hitzlsperger, the England man pokes a delicate looking half volley towards the far post and it drops into the far corner. A lovely finish from the skipper!
Another piledriver from Der Hammer, his shot from 25 yards is firmly struck straight down the throat of Reina.
Neat play between Noble and Hitzlsperger. Noble feeds Piquionne, the pass is slightly over hit and it's a Liverpool goal kick.
Luis Suarez thinks he is away, only to see the flag raised as he is penalised for a shove. The Uruguayan has struggled to get into the game so far.
A free kick awarded near the centre circle for a high-foot from Thomas Hitzlsperger.
Calls for a penalty from Piquionne's clearance. Johnson's header struck the Frenchman on the arm, but his hands were by his side and a spot-kick would have been harsh.
Glen Johnson rises highest and powers a header down towards goal, Piquionne is there to punt the ball away from trouble.
Meireles feeds Martin Kelly and Liverpool are looking to attack. Kelly's cross is dangerous, and Hitzlsperger clears for a corner...
Hitzlsperger's corner is cleared and Liverpool can break...
A corner to West Ham, the first of the game...
A low shot from that man again as Meireles drills it straight at Rob Green from the edge of the box.
Jacobsen heads clear Steven Gerrard's cross, with Raul Meireles lurking. Meireles is pushing forward a lot in the opening stages.
The game is yet to settle into a rhythm as both teams look to get forward with speed.
Martin Skrtel in the book for a cynical trip on Piquionne as the French striker looked to break.
A lively opening between two teams who have improved drastically in recent weeks.
A half chance for the in-form Raul Meireles, a lofted pass reaches the penalty area, the former Porto man directs a header towards goal which drifts a yard over the crossbar.
Der Hammer unleashes his first bolt of the afternoon, a stunning volley from his might left foot, fortunately for Liverpool it's straight at Pepe Reina!
West Ham launch their first forray forward, Jonathan Spector goes to ground close to the touchline but nothing is given.
A positive start from Liverpool, recently recovered Matthew Upson heads clear as the visitors pump the ball forward directly from kick off.
