Milan have been wretched in defence and little better in attack. Only Beckham can hold his head up high here. For United, it was a fine showing and fine retribution for 2007 when Milan thrashed United on home turf in the second leg.
It's all over and United win 4-0 on the night, 7-2 on aggregate.
Inzaghi just fails to make proper contact from another superb Beckham cross. Really poor from Inzaghi.
Ronaldinho looks to find Inzaghi at the far post but it's headed away.
Inzaghi looks to have a late chance as he latches onto a ball touched on by Flamini, but he's offside. Van der Sar just about made the save anyway.
Fletcher heads home at the far post - completely unmarked - from Rafael's deep cross.

United are constantly attacking. Abbiati fails to convince with a punch again and it comes to Gibson, whose shot is blocked on the edge of the area.
Nani puts it in and Milan again fail to convince in defence, but nothing comes of it.
United win another free-kick out on the left.
Flamini gets a yellow and United have a free-kick.
Beckham, who has been impressive, puts in a dangerous ball again but Vidic clears at full stretch and then the flag goes up for offside.
Nani puts it in from the left again and but again it comes to nothing.
Gibson misses a decent chance from the edge of the area from Nani's cross from the left. Should have at least hit the target.
'We want Beckham back' is the current chant from the United fans.

Beckham's free-kick is aimed at the far post but Ferdinand heads away.

United counter and Abbiati is at full stretch to claw away a ball from the left from Nani with Valencia loitering.
Seedorf plays a clever ball behind for Jankulovski but he's tackled and United escape.
Seedorf plays another ball goalwards for Flamini to chase, but Van der Sar gathers with no trouble.
Seedorf finds Borriello on the edhe of the area but he's crowded out. It goes out wide to Abate from Pirlo and then into the centre for Huntelaar but, with a relatively simple header, he puts it over the bar.
The United fans have been chanting 'We want Beckham on' for a while, which is probably quite insulting for the player.
Valencia looks to attack from the right again but this time he ends up just putting a tame ball into the box for the defenders to deal with.
Valencia charges towards Jankulovski from the right and then fires in a shot, just missing the target.
Less than a minute into the second half, Rooney has made it 2-0. Nani darted down the left and played a perfect pass for Rooney to tap beyond Abbiati.
The second half is underway. Seedorf is on for defender Bonera as Milan try to get the three goals.
Rooney's goal - another header following some very poor defending - has put United 4-2 up on aggregate and Milan need three goals in 45 minutes. Join us in the second half.

Darren Fletcher fires a shot just wide of the post! He's given enough time to curl an effort just wide of Abbiati's far post.
Ronaldinho puts it in and it eventually comes to Pirlo, but he can't make anything of it. Goal kick.
Pirlo has another attempt at a corner but again it's cleared. Milan win a free-kick out on the left, though, with Valencia the culprit.
United get the corner clear.
Pirlo plays a brilliant pass to Abate from out on the right but Nani is able to cut it out despite failing to track his man from the initial ball. Corner kick.
The excitement has really drained from the game in the last few minutes. Milan needed to respond quickly and it just hasn't happened.
Ronaldinho lofts a ball into the box, but it ends up with Van der Sar. Milan need to step up significantly.
United put together a good string of passes but, when it comes to Neville, his cross is poor again.
Vidic goes down in pain after a clash with Flamini. There didn't look to be any intent.
Neville looks for Rooney after making some space, but Abate heads back to Abbiati.
Park lays the ball back to Neville, but his cross is very poor. He's had a good game so far, though.
Neither side is threatening at the moment but that will suit United just fine.
Evra and Nani combine down the right but Bonera wins a goal kick from Evra.
Abate puts in a poor cross from the right. It's high and evades everyone by some distance. Meanwhile, the ref is having a word with Scholes for an earlier challenge on Flamini.
Ronaldinho scampers down the left but his low cross is easily cut out by Ferdinand.
Valencia approaches the area from the right but there's nothing on and an inventive pass for Park goes straight to the keeper.
fletcher looks to feed Rooney on the edge of the area but he can't get past two defenders.

Rooney chases a ball over the top but can't get himself into a decent position and Bonera clears for a throw.
Milan are on top again but, as with the Rooney goal, United can easily punish them on the break, particularly as Milan need to chase three goals.
Borriello sees a shot blocked inside the area and it's out for a throw in. Park struggles to clear the throw but United escape.
Ronaldinho does very well to cross for Flamini at the far post. The ball eventually comes to Pirlo outside the box and his shot causes Van der Sar some big problems, but he gathers at the second attempt.
Ferdinand stops Huntelaar brilliantly as a cross comes in from the right. He's made a really good start to the match.
Milan have reacted after the goal but United are standing up to the challenge.
Pirlo's free-kick seems to evade everyone and threatens to creep in, but Ferdinand is there to provide the block.
Valencia concedes a free-kick for a foul on Jankulovski. Milan can put this in from the left flank.
Wayne Rooney heads home from Gary Neville's cross. No pressure at all on Neville and Daniele Bonera did little to put Rooney off.
United are losing their grip on the match and Milan currently look the more likely to open the scoring.

Gary Neville nearly scores a scorcher! He was just over the bar there with a left-footer from outside the area. The keeper probably had it covered, though.

The ball goes into the Milan box again. United have made a very strong start here.
Rooney fires just wide from the edge of the area. Jankulovski lost possession to Valencia, who did well there. Nani was unhappy not to receive the pass but, on current form, Rooney was entitled to take on the shot.
Rooney fails to make anything of a good Neville pass into the box.
Ambrosini slips and nearly sparks a United attack but Nani loses possession on the left.
Nani looks to be out on the left with Valencia on the right and Park in support of Rooney.

Milan need to score at least two goals tonight but, with United's defence likely to be a little rusty, there could be goals here.
United, meanwhile, welcome back Rooney, and he looks to be up front on his own. Nani, Valencia and Park are all starting too, though, so he'll have plenty of support, even if their exact positions are unclear at this stage.
David Beckham is left on the bench. It's the big news, although it's unlikely anyone genuinely expected him to start. Pato, meanwhile, misses out completely as he has seemingly failed to recover from injury.
