  • 92'

Final whistle. It's all over and Inter's negative tactics have definitely stifled Barca. Good disciplined performance by the Italians, while the Catalans will return to Spain extremely frustrated.

  • 91'

Eto'o finally has the ball at his feet but no options.

  • 90'

    The crowd cheer as Eto'o forces a throw-in. that's right, cheering a throw-in.

    Two added minutes.

  • 87'

A rare break for Inter as Maicon tries a speculative effort. But it's easily blocked.

  • 87'

Still the wave of orange moves towards the Inter goal but still they can't penetrate the Italian's very solid defence.

  • 83'

Santon breaks and wins a free-kick in a dangerous position. Toure gets a yellow.

  • 80'

Ibrahimovic shot blocked away for a corner.

  • 77'

Struggling to remember the last time Inter had any sort of attack.

  • 77'

Alves in acres on the right again, all that's missing is the final delivery.

  • 76'

    Iniesta on for Henry.

  • 75'

Barca all over the Italians here, surely only a matter of time before they break the deadlock.

  • 74'

Iniesta warming up, could spell trouble for Inter.

  • 69'

    Maicon fouled by Abidal.

Messi plays an exceptional ball over the top towards Zlatan but it's cleared by Chivu.

  • 56'

Finally past the first man and after some pinball in the box, the ball is cleared.

  • 55'

    Free-kick Inter. Sneijder to deliver.

  • 54'

Inter chasing shadows in midfield at the moment and Ibrahimovic receives a round of boos from the San Siro as he goes down easily under Samuel's shoulder barge.

Kicking off a bit late as Inter took there time coming out of the dressing room.

  • 46'

Fact of the day, Victor Valdes has now gone 481 minutes without conceding, since the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

  • 46'

And we're off again...fingers crossed we can get some goals in the next 45 minutes.

  • 46'

    See you in 15 minutes...

  • 46'

    Half-time at the San Siro.

We need a mistake or a moment of genius- something to bring the game to life.

Messi getting far too much of the ball, Inter happy to stand-off Barca

  • 11'

Eto'o releases Maicon in space and he takes a shot from 20 yards but it rises high over the crossbar.

  •

Here they come then, that familiar Champions League music plays again and the San Siro anticipates what could be a classic encounter. Can Barca be stopped? Can Mourinho be the one to do it? Answers will be coming up over the next 90 minutes.

  •

Here they come then, that familiar Champions League music plays again and the San Siro anticipates what could be a classic encounter, can Barca be stopped?

  •

The players are in the tunnel everyone seems very relaxed. There's lots of banter flying about and smiles all round from Zlatan and Eto'o.

  •

All the talk before the game has been about Eto'o and Ibrahimovic and I reckon at least one of them has to get on the scoresheet. Apparently Barca boss Pep Guardiola promised Eto'o a hug to say thanks for his time at the Nou Camp. No sign of it yet though.

  •

Inter have won two and drawn one in Serie A so far. Eto'o scored a screamer to seal a 2-0 victory against Parma in their last game.

  •

Barca have won their opening two La Liga fixtures, with Ibrahimovic and Messi grabbing the goals in a 2-0 win at Getafe last Saturday.

  •

The last time these two sides met at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the Champions League was in 2002. That game finished 0-0 so let?s hope there will be no repeat of that tonight.

  •

Barcelona: Valdes, Dani Alves, Puyol, Pique, Abidal, Toure Yaya, Xavi, Keita, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Henry.
