A great result for Celtic, despite the fact that they are now officially out of the Champions League. A first point away from home against a team that battered Real Madrid a few days ago in this very ground. It's come a little late but it should at least guarantee them a Uefa cup spot. Barca are through and still have to be favourites for the crown despite this draw.
The last few minutes are crystalised by the last action of the game. Eto'o trying to surge forward and Lennon robbing him, then hoofing it up the other end of the pitch. Final score 1-1.
Some tired legs getting in the way of the last Barca attacks.
Two minutes of added time and Sutton is lame in the centre circle - a bit of cramp by the look of it.
A more legitimate use of a few seconds from Camara as he chases down a lost cause in the Barca left back position to concede a throw.
Wallace earns the wrath of Puyol by sprinting away with the ball and then diving, 'wining' a free kick for his team high up the pitch. Rightly so as well.
Game's gone a bit scrappy as it stumbles into its final moments.
An arrowed diagonal ball was into the path of Eto'o but to quick for him to control. Just as well for Celtic: if he had he woould surely have scored.
Substitution for Celtic. Thompson hobbles going off - injured or wasting time I'm not sure - unlike Ross Wallace who sprints into the action.
Celtic sitting very, very deep now as they try and run down the clock is inviting pressure. Xavi has another pot-shot. He misses but he's getting closer and closer to beating Hedman.
Iniesta was clear through on goal and had the chance to shoot but obviously doesn't rust his left foot. Tried to cut back on to his right allowing Balde to get goalside and block him. A let off for Celtic.
Barca have had as much possession this half as the first but really haven't opened Celtic up as often. Credit to the way they have played in the second half. Disciplined and solid all the way.
Another snap shot from Xavi is on target but Hedman is behind it all the way.
Hartson hassled Puyol into making a mistake at the back and picking his pocket. Laid it wide to Camara and he did the right thing in trying to return it to Hartson quickly but a deflection propelled it into the hands of Valdes.
Pinpoint corner picks out Ronaldinho at the far side of the box. He takes it first time with a volley but couldn't control it.
Snap shot from Xavi took a cruel deflection off Petrov, completelt wrong footing Hadman. Hearts in mouth time as the ball trickled agonisingly wide of the goal.
wonderful slide rule pass from deco released Gio but his low centre was well dealt with by Valgaeren.
Bizarrely, Celtic waste the corner by taking it from outside the quarter circle!??!
Great running from Camara. Completely out paced Gio and, with no one to aim for, did well to force a corner off him.
Despite playing in the Barca half for a minute or two celtic couldn't find a way through the home rearguard.
The introduction of Camara has made the Celtic attack more spritly and his positive run earns a throw out by the corner flag, taking pressure off the defenders and possibly providing the platform for an attack.
Belletti - a contender for man of the match with his forward contribution - can be forgiven for having a go himself from a tight angle. Unfortunately after cutting inside his man brilliantly be blazed it well over.
Celtic string a few passes together in the middle of the pitch for what seems like the first time but the move is let down by an Agathe cross far too close to Valdes.
Another free-kick given away by Barca wide on the right in their own half allows Petrov to once more aim for Hartson at the back post. Valdes is alive to the ploy though and is out well to claim.
Substitution forced on Celtic by and injury to Varga who has had a very good match. Henri Camara comes on so Agathe takes a step back and Valgaeren one across at the back.
Celtic standing firm and Barca aren't getting the chances they were in the first-half. Ronaldinho skips into the box on the right but his dinked centre is met by Balde.
It is the Brazilian who strikes it but it is not a clean shot. Beats the wall but not the vigilant Hedman.
Clumsy challenge on Deco - who doesn't need much encouragement to take a tumble - by Balde sets up a free-kick in front of goal in Ronaldinho territory.
Iniesta involved quickly. Barca work the ball down the right and a high looping cross is met by the youngster but Varga does enough to put him off and Hedman is out smartly to collect the header.
Second Barca substitution. Andres Iniesta on for Guily.
Ronaldinho shows a side of his game I've not seen before in hacking down Petrov who was on a mazy run (ditto the above). Mistimed rather than malicious I think.
Ronaldinho makes space for himself and then slips in Eto'o but Balde puts in a powerful challenge to rob him. Great defending.
Thompson working tirelessly down the left but after hurdling two tackles on the line he is pulled back for the ball having gone out of play.
Sharp turn and drag-back from Eto'o sells two Celtic men but the return from a one-two with Deco is just too strong for him.
Hartson sniffing around a long ball forward but the combined attention of Oleguer and Marquez block his path.
Barca play a string of three square passes across the Celtic 18 yard line - they have men over every time they attack - before Marquez scuffs the shot.
Similar pattern to the first-half. Barca the team seeing all the possession but Celtic snapping at their heels at every turn.
Thompson's delivery, uncharacteristically, is poor. Celtic need to make these dead ball situations count.
Headman comes a long, long way out of his box to take a free kick. Punts it up to Hartson who shows great intelligence in forcing a corner off Olequer.
Dangerous looking cross from the right causes concern in the Celtic back line, Valgaeren taking no chances and heading behind when he could actually have left it. Corner comes to nothing.
Marquez lightly clipped by Sutton and falls as if stabbed. Pathetic.
Change at half-time sees Sylivinho make way for former Rangers man van Bronkhorst (he preferes to be called Gio and so that is what I shall do from now, alright?). He'll be popular amongst the Celtic fans I'm sure.
There has only been one team in this game - Barca dishing out a lesson in the art of playing football. Celtic have riden their luck but have earned some too through solid and committed defending. They only really threatened the Barca goal once and that was when they scored. Second-half should be interesting...
Whistles sounds and the sides go in on level terms.
The ball was curled over and no Barca player took control of the situation. Varga got the faintest of flicks onto it that helped it on to Hartson - who looked to be offside (meaning he was offside) - about a yard out. He doesn't miss from there (no one bar perhaps Kanu could miss from there) and it's all square. I told you not to write them off, didn't I?
And out of nowhere Celtic level the scores from the resulting set piece. Hartson the name the traveling Celtic hoards are singing at the moment. 1-1.
Untidy back-pass from Olegeur puts Valdes in trouble with Sutton bearing down on him. He puts it out of play before Sutton receives the throw and is fouled, level with the six yard box.
Sutton, Hartson and then Petrov try to pass their way through the Barca defence but Puyol outmuscles the Bulgarian.
Really has been a one sided affair, as expected, but it remains just the one goal in it and you can never write of O'Neill's team.
Looked all over for a second but the legs of Hedman denied Eto'o after Ronaldinho had jinked into the box and squared to him.
High feet from Puyol - he did hit the ball but forced it into Sutton's face at the same time - sets up a free kick just outside the box to the left. Again the flighted ball to the back post causes concern but Hartson is just beaten to it by Oleguer.
Rare foray forward sees and angled flighted ball aimed for the head of Sutton. Doesn't reach him but it is the sort of ball Celtic are likely to profit from.
Marquez is booked foe an utterly needless foul on Varga in the centre of the pitch. Stupid, Varga was going nowhere and the tackle never threatened the ball.
The irreprssible Ronaldinho plays the pass of the match so far to bisect the Celtic defence and put Guily one-on-one with Hedman. The Celtic keeper did well to stay on his feet and snuffed out the danger. Celtic living dangerously.
Barca almost craft another opening. Eto'o in to Xavi whoes lobbed return landed at the feet of the on rushing Eto'o but he couldn't direct his shot on goal. Guily tried to acrobatically send it back but his overhead kick was just an air shot.
Barca try a corner from the training ground. Cut back from Ronaldinho to Xavi in the 'D' is horribly miscued by the Spain player though.
Deco twists and turns on the edge of the box to throw Lennon to one side but Varga came to his team-mate's rescue with a desperate lunge across to deflect the shot into Hedman's grateful arms.
Eto'o tries his luck from a very, very long way and it doesn't get very far at all until it hits a green and white shirt.
Barca continue to dominate possession though Celtic have regained a degree of composure and are dealing with them, as they were up until the goal.
More Barca pressure, this time from a free kick out right near the corner of the box. Swung in to a busy peanlty area but Varga is eaqual to it.
Celtic at sixes and sevens for the moment allowing Sylvinho space to pick out a cross from the left that Eto'o looked odds on to convert. His angled side foot, however, flashes past a static Hedman's far post.
Surrounded by Celtic midfielders and then defenders Eto'o just strode down the middle of the pitch, played a one-two with Deco and drilled the opening goal past a helpless Hedman. Poetry in motion from what have to be the best team in Europe on current form at least.
It really is a simple game when you have the attacking players Barca do. Eto'o turns a difficult task for Celtic into mission impossible. 1-0 Barca.
And again Belletti catches a ball that McNamara had left thinking it was going out. His cut back picks out Guily but his effort had the sting taken out of it by a deflection. Hedman still had to work to save it.
Now Barca come down the right with the pacy Belletti. Celtic really are being stretched across the full width of the pitch.
Ronaldinho and Sylvinho combine well on the left but the sheer weight of numbers of green and white shirts blocks their path.
Panic in the Celtic box as Xavi almost connects with a bicycle kick.
Thompson, with the Barca defence backing off, has a go from 25 yards. On target but straight down Valdes' throat
Valgaeren is penalised for a foul throw. A FOUL THROW! Is this the champions league or sunday league?
Sutton causes problems in the Barca box but just fails to connect properly with a difficult ball in.
Slight lack of communication between McNamara and Hedman raises a cheer from the crowd but it was never going to lead to a goal.
Balde looks to have been given the job of taking care of Eto'o and is following him all over the place. I can see why you want Eto'o shackled but Balde would be missed in the centre if he follows Eto'o too far out.
Finally Eto'o is tempted to have a go and shoots from distance but the huge frame of Balde gets in the way.
Stlightly subdued few minutes of play. Celtic seem, naturally, ultra cautious of straying too far forward and Barca content, for now, to be patient.
Little spell of keep ball from Barca but Celtic have men back and they aren't getting anywhere with it.
Valgaeren is nutmegged for the second time in five minutes by Ronaldinho. Pulls his man back and is penalised. Stupidly Lennon then picks up a yellow card for protesting.
Real danger signs early on for Celtic as Barca look to have space in the opposition half. They just break so incisively.
Hartson concedes possession on the edge of the Barca box shows the danger as the hosts break at lightening speed up the other end. A wonderful backheel from Ronaldinho sets Sylvinho free but his dangerous looking cross is just cut out by Varga.
Belletti gets forward well to support his strikers and earns a corner off the head of Thompson that is wasted.
Ronaldinho nutmegs Valgaeren but the Celtic man than fairly outmuscles him with a shoulder charge.
Lennon hands out a little warning of his own by clattering into Deco with the ball a long way clear.
Deco fires an early warning shot with a shot dragged wide from distance after crafting some space himself.
We are underway in the impressive Nou Camp, the Celtic traveling fans audible despite being stationed on the top tier.
Celtic then need a win to provide a lifeline. Barca just need a point to make sure of qualification. I know who my money's on but I'm hoping for a miracle.
Barcelona, who beat Real Madrid at the weekend as their opponents lost their heads and the game to Old Firm rivals to Rangers, were without Parkhead legend Henrik Larsson, who turned the first game in Glasgow in their favour, having picked up a serious knee injury.
Martin O'Neill makes just one change to his starting XI for tonight's daunting Champions League Group F showdown against La Liga's runaway leaders in the Nou Camp. Henri Camara is dropped from the side which took on Rangers on Saturday in favour of Didier Agathe who had recovered from injury.
