Another magnificent display from the Gunners. They go into the FA Cup semi-final draw and I'm off to confiscate that clown's bell.

  •

A 5-1 demolition by Arsenal and the only plus for Portsmouth was the return of Sheringham and the performance of Primus....and, of course, their vocal fans.

  • 90'

That's the last action of the match as the final whistle blows.

  • 90'

Hughes does well to win the ball. He looks up and smashes a dipping long-range shot over Lehmann's bar.

  • 89'

Sheringham celebrates in front of the fans that derided him moments ago. Pompey deserved that goal.

  • 88'

..Sheringham gets to the ball first and hooks it over Lehmann. GOAL!!!

  • 87'

Stone finds space on the right and delivers a back-post cross that Hughes knocks back across goal...

  • 86'

Taylor whips in a cross. Lehmann can't collect it under a challenge from Yakubu but Campbell clears.

  • 85'

Sheringham mishits a shot and gets jeered by the Arsenal fans (who have not forgotten his days at Spurs, or Manchester United).

  • 84'

Reyes takes a corner on the right. Hislop comes to collect to the delight of the Pompey fans.

  • 83'

Pompey manager Harry Redknapp and Jim Smith confer on the touchline but there is nothing they can do to change this match.

  • 82'

Gilberto plays a loose pass that Yakubu latches onto. His strike is well wide of Lehmann's goal.

  • 81'

Lehmann and Yakubu have a little shoving contest.

  • 80'

Smertin knocks the ball down for Taylor, whose strike beats Lehmann, comes back off the post, hits Campbell and spoons over the bar.

  • 79'

The Portsmouth fans, who have been vocal all match despite the scoreline, ole their team's every touch.

  • 78'

Reyes takes a dive in the box as Primus looks to make a challenge. No penalty says the ref and the fans show their disapproval at the tumble.

  • 77'

Hughes has been tenacious since he came on and makes another good tackle on Reyes.

  • 76'

Mornar is replaced by Teddy Sheringham - can the former Tottenham striker get a goal against his old arch-rivals?

  • 75'

Bentley switches play to the left flank with a lofted ball to Kanu, but the Nigerian loses possession.

  • 74'

Hughes fires off a low shot from the edge of the box that Lehmann parries. Mornar gets his head to the rebound but can only steer it past the post.

  • 73'

Off goes a reluctant Henry, Ljungberg and Vieira. On come Bentley, Kanu and Clichy.

  • 72'

A bit like the rest of the match, Arsenal have to go one better and make three changes.

  • 71'

Pompey make a change. Hughes comes on for Quashie.

  • 70'

....the Swede's shot is cleared off the line and Portsmouth eventually smuggle the ball clear.

  • 69'

Henry dances through the Portsmouth defence and fires the ball across goal. Hislop's parry drops to Ljungberg......

  • 67'

...Hislop races off his line and hoofs the ball clear as Reyes chases.

  • 66'

Taylor takes another corner from the right, with the same results, and Reyes breaks at pace.....

  • 65'

  • 64'

Stone finds space on the right and crosses for Yakubu, whose header hits the bar, bounces down onto the goalline and out.

  • 63'

Qaushie shepherds the ball out for a goalkick as Arsenal attack for the umpteenth time.

  • 62'

Stone takes a corner. Primus rises at the back post but can't direct his header on target.

'Harry and Jim' is now the chant from the fans.

  • 59'

Yakubu beats Gilberto and plays the ball down the line for Smertin, who pulls out of a challenge with Lauren.

  • 54'

Arsenal are happy to just keep the ball at 4-0.

  • 53'

The Portsmouth fans a singing 'The Great Escape' as that infernal bell continues to bl#!%&y ring.

  • 51'

Henry drives at the defence and prods the ball through to Ljungberg, who spins and finds the back of the net....but the flag is up for offside.

  • 51'

A scramble in the Portsmouth goal-mouth ends when Vieira handles the ball. This could be a real rout at Fratton Park.

  • 50'

Hislop probably should have done better but Henry shot so quickly the keeper was caught unaware.

  • 49'

The ref waves De Zeeuw on. Meanwhile, the ball bounces off Ljungberg for Henry, who hits a curling shot past Hislop from 25-yards out. GOAL!!!

  • 48'

Henry and Primus do battle on the touchline and the defender comes out on top. Primus has been Portsmouth's best player by far.

  • 46'

Arseanl get the second-half underway. Portsmouth have replaced the wasteful Berkovic with Steve Stone.

  •

3-0 to Arsenal and they look certain be in the FA Cup semi-final draw. At least there should be goals in the second-half.

Unless Pompey can hit back quickly it looks like it's game over for the home side.

  • 41'

Edu splits the Pompey defence with an inch perfect pass and Ljungberg slots the ball past Hislop. GOAL!!!!

  • 40'

The ball bobbles unkindly for Primus but the defender performs some uncoventional ball juggling on the edge of his own box to clear - much to the delight of the fans.

  • 39'

Ljungberg finds Henry on the right of the area. De Zeeuw stays on his feet and eventually blocks Henry's shot, despite the Frenchman's twists and turns.

  • 38'

Edu tackles Smertin from behind. Pompey freekick.

  • 37'

  • 23'

Portsmouth's physical approach is serving them well so far......

  • 13'

  • 11'

Yakubu wins the ball back and draws a foul from Toure. Pompey freekick on the corner of the area.....
