Chelsea's Eden Hazard in no rush to make a decision on his future

Eden Hazard has told Sky Sports he is not thinking about his long-term future at the moment as he is currently focused on ensuring a successful season for Chelsea.

Hazard, 26, has been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid this summer, while there has also been talk of Chelsea trying to tie down the Belgium international to a new deal.

Hazard, however, insists he is not giving his future much thought for the time being as he is determined to help his club to a Premier League and FA Cup Double first.

"There is no sign of a new contract for the moment. I am focused on the last month, and we will talk later," he said. "It's not in my mind now. I have two or three years left. I just want to finish the season well and we will see afterwards."

With Chelsea facing Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Hazard feels the Premier League leaders have a chance to "create a bit of trouble" in the minds of Tottenham Hotspur by picking up the three points.

Chelsea are ahead of second-placed Tottenham by four points with six matches remaining in the title race and play 24 hours before their London rivals, who face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday.

And Hazard -- who scored Chelsea's decisive third goal in Saturday's 4-2 victory over Tottenham in a thrilling FA Cup semifinal -- sees it as an opportunity for the club to exploit any momentum gained from their Wembley triumph.

"We lost to Manchester United but we have more confidence," Hazard said. "We beat Tottenham and we play before them, so perhaps we can create a bit of trouble in their minds. They are strong and we are strong, so it will be a good fight until the end."

Hazard has rediscovered his best form for Chelsea this season, registering 14 goals and five assists in 30 Premier League appearances.

But following Saturday's win, teammate Cesc Fabregas said that he often urges the Belgium international to be more selfish in the final third if he wants to reach the level of Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

"Fabregas is not the only one to say that to me," Hazard added. "A lot of people say to me you need to be more selfish, but when I am on the pitch sometimes I prefer to pass the ball. I try game after game to be more selfish. I know it's good for me to score more goals if I want to reach the level of Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo. I am working on it."

Hazard was edged out by teammate N'Golo Kante for the PFA Player of the Year award on Sunday, but insists that he is proud of the France international's achievement this season.

"It's fully deserved," Hazard said of Kante's win. "He had a great season with Leicester and then this season too. You know the trophy most times goes to the player who scores some goals or gets some assists and wins games, but N'Golo changed that. He is not scoring goals or making many assists, but he does a fantastic job on the pitch. He deserved to win."
