Chelsea's N'Golo Kante: Hazard, Costa, Luiz can all win POTY like me

N'Golo Kante believes three of his Chelsea teammates deserve to win the PFA Player of the Year award just as much as him.

After being one of the stars of Leicester City's shock Premier League title triumph last season, Kante, 25, has again earned plaudits for his pivotal role in Chelsea's bid for the top-flight crown this term.

The France international's displays mean he is hotly tipped to be among those honoured when the season's individual prizes are handed out.

However, speaking to Canal+, Kante insisted at least three other members of Antonio Conte's squad would be worthy winners.

"I think it's possible, it would be great," Kante said when asked if he thought he could win the PFA Player of the Year award by last season's winner and former Leicester teammate Riyad Mahrez.

"There are quite a lot of players in the Premier League, even in my team, who would deserve this prize -- Eden [Hazard], Diego Costa, David Luiz."
