DID YOU KNOW?

On this day in 2006, defender Abdel Zaher El-Saka won his 100th cap for Egypt, who were hosting the finals of the African Nations Cup. The match with Morocco in Cairo ended goalless. So did the final, which El-Saka also played in but Egypt won 4-2 on penalties to take the title -- Cris Freddi.
