Audio: Man Utd legend Paddy Crerand has no time for dumb questions, launches into amazing rant live on radio

Posted by Chris Wright

In the aftermath of Sunday's tempestuous Manchester derby, BBC Radio Five Live gave bona fide Manchester United legend Paddy Crerand a ring on Monday morning for his take on suggestions that United players provoked City fans into lobbing legal tender at Rio Ferdinand by celebrating their last-gasp winner directly in front on the home supporters.

As is the trouble with prodding a 73-year-old man before he's had time for his morning porridge, an irritated Crerand misunderstood the BBC host's question and, with the wrong end of the stick firmly in his grasp, flew into an amazing steam-powered rant about this, that and everything...

You tell 'em Paddy! That'll teach those buttoned-down yuppies to wait until you've had your Ready Brek before they start asking stupid questions!
