Video: Cristiano Ronaldo belts free-kick through Osasuna GK's legs and in off his backside

It's fairly common knowledge that Cristiano Ronaldo fancies his chances of scoring any free-kick from anywhere in the opponent's half, completely regardless of it being a monstrous distance out from goal or the fact that he usually pounds 99 percent of his 'tomahawk' set-pieces either off into the ionosphere or at shin-level into the defensive wall.

However, it was with one of his duff 99-percenters that Ronaldo actually managed to open the scoring for Real Madrid against Osasuna in the Copa Del Rey last night, when 'keeper Andres Fernandez made an utter hash of keeping the fairly innocuous free-kick at bay -- proceeding to punch the ball into the back of his net via a ricochet down through his legs and in off his own backside...

We don't know what's worse: the actual 'save' attempt or Ronaldo celebrating the goal like he meant to do that all along!
